Susan G. Komen recommends the following for breast cancer screening:

• Ask your doctor which screening tests are right for you if you are at a higher risk.
• Have a mammogram every year starting at age 40 if you are at average risk.
• Have a clinical breast exam at least every 3 years starting at age 20, and every year starting at age 40.

If you need help paying for a mammogram or clinical breast exam, here is a list of resources, all of whom are Komen Missouri grant recipients.

If you have breast cancer or know someone who does, here are resources that may be helpful.

If you have any questions or are looking for other types of assistance, please contact Komen Missouri at 314.644.5400 or info@komenmissouri.org.
